【Weichai FinDreams Yantai Industrial Park Project Phase I Battery Production Commenced!】On March 28, the "New Quality, New Power, Towards Electricity, Towards the Future" Shandong Heavy Industry Weichai Group New Energy Strategy Transformation Promotion Meeting was held in Yantai. The first battery product of the Weichai FinDreams (Yantai) New Energy Power Industrial Park rolled off the production line, marking the official commencement of Phase I of the industrial park project. It is reported that the Phase I project covers an area of 1,007 mu and has built 20GWh battery cell and PACK production lines, equivalent to an annual production of 300,000 commercial vehicle power battery systems, which will effectively fill the key gap in Yantai's NEV "three major electric" industry chain.

【150,000 mt/year LFP Project Launched in Guigang, Guangxi】On March 28, Wintrue (002539) announced that the company recently signed the "Wintrue Zhiling Green Chemical New Energy Materials Project Investment Cooperation Agreement" with the People's Government of Guigang City and the People's Government of Qintang District, Guigang City, agreeing to invest in the Wintrue Zhiling Green Chemical New Energy Materials Project in Guigang City, Guangxi, with a total investment of approximately 15.9 billion yuan. The Phase I investment is about 1 billion yuan, covering an area of about 300 mu (the specific area is subject to the actual land area publicly listed for sale), mainly constructing a 900,000 mt high-efficiency compound fertilizer production unit, along with supporting storage and auxiliary facilities. The Phase II investment is about 6 billion yuan, covering an area of 1,200 mu, mainly constructing a 1 million mt/year synthetic ammonia, 1.5 million mt/year urea, 300,000 mt/year liquid and granular ammonium nitrate, and 270,000 mt/year nitric acid production units, along with supporting 2×450 mt/hour coal-fired steam boilers and storage facilities.

【Total Investment of 3.621 Billion Yuan Project Launched in Anhui】On March 24, the Hefei Municipal Bureau of Ecology and Environment in Anhui Province released the first public notice of the environmental impact assessment information for the "Hefei Rongjie Power Battery Recycling Co., Ltd. Power Battery Recycling Project." The total investment of the project is 3.621 billion yuan, constructing new battery pack disassembly workshops, battery cell disassembly workshops, leaching pretreatment workshops, iron phosphate workshops, lithium carbonate workshops, graphite regeneration workshops, and supporting production units; new warehouses, offices, dormitories, and other public auxiliary facilities. After completion, the project can produce 84,000 mt/year battery-grade iron phosphate, 18,000 mt/year battery-grade lithium carbonate, 25,000 mt/year LFP, 30,000 mt/year graphite, 1.5GWh cascade utilization battery packs, and 7,400 mt/year copper, 38,000 mt/year aluminum, and other by-products.

【Retired Power Lithium Battery Recycling and Cascade Utilization Project Launched】On March 25, the Hanzhong Daily released the environmental information public notice for the "Hanzhong Huantai New Energy Recycling Technology Co., Ltd. Retired Power Lithium Battery Recycling and Cascade Utilization Project," marking the project's entry into the substantive promotion stage in Hanzhong City, Shaanxi Province. It is reported that the total investment of the project is as high as 128 million yuan, aiming to build an efficient and environmentally friendly retired power lithium battery recycling and cascade utilization industry chain. The main construction content includes building one retired power lithium battery recycling and disassembly line and one retired power lithium battery recycling and disassembly cascade utilization line, with a designed annual recycling and processing capacity of 21,000 units/sets.

【50,000 mt LFP Battery Comprehensive Utilization Project Phase I Completed!】1.16 billion yuan! The Phase I of the 50,000 mt LFP battery comprehensive utilization project has been completed! The project covers an area of about 170 mu, with a total investment of 1.16 billion yuan, promoting the construction and operation of the 50,000 mt/year LFP battery comprehensive utilization project. The project is divided into two phases, with the Phase I project having an annual processing capacity of 20,000 mt of retired LFP batteries. After full production, the project is expected to achieve an annual revenue of 1 billion yuan.

【Annual Processing of 400,000 mt Waste Batteries! Anhui Jingyuan Cascade Decomposition and Reuse Center Project Arrives】Recently, the Jinzhai County Bureau of Ecology and Environment in Lu'an City, Anhui Province, officially released the first public notice of the environmental impact assessment information for the "Anhui Jingyuan Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd. Battery Cascade Decomposition and Reuse Center Project," marking the steady progress of the project. The project is located in the No. 3 workshop of the Jinzhai Solid Waste Treatment Center, covering an area of 7,098 m2, utilizing recycled retired power lithium battery modules for cascade utilization. After completion, the project can achieve an annual processing capacity of 400,000 mt of waste batteries.

【Shandong Linyi 40,000 mt Retired Power Battery Comprehensive Recycling Project Launched】Recently, the People's Government of Hedong District, Linyi City, Shandong Province, released the proposed approval announcement by the Administrative Approval Service Bureau for the annual recycling and processing of 40,000 mt of retired NEV power batteries comprehensive recycling project of Shandong Taigu Jiantou New Materials Co., Ltd. It is reported that the main construction content of the project includes 4 scrap lithium battery pack disassembly lines, 2 retired power battery cascade utilization production lines, and 6 retired power battery crushing and sorting production lines, along with supporting auxiliary production facilities. The project covers an area of 65,659 m2, with a construction area of 35,340 m2, and is expected to be put into production in May 2025. After full production, the plant can achieve an annual recycling and processing capacity of 40,000 mt of retired NEV power batteries.

【Weifu Technology NEV Battery Precursor Material Production and Recycling Project Launched!】On March 14, the People's Government of Suichang County, Lishui City, Zhejiang Province, officially released the public notice of the environmental impact assessment information for the "Weifu Technology (Lishui) Co., Ltd. NEV Battery Precursor Material Production and Recycling Project," marking the project's official entry into the public supervision and evaluation stage. After completion, the project is expected to form an annual recycling and processing capacity of 10,000 mt of scrap lithium batteries, 5,000 mt of black mass, and an annual production capacity of 13,830 mt of electronic specialty materials.

【Investment Expected to Reach 4.53 Billion Yuan, Jiangsu Lianyungang Power Battery Project Officially Started Construction!】On March 18, Hunan Zhongzeng Energy Co., Ltd. (referred to as "Zhongzeng Energy") officially started the construction of the 9GWh titanium lithium high-energy power battery project in Lianyungang, Jiangsu. This "super factory" with a total investment of 4.53 billion yuan is not only an important piece of Zhongzeng Energy's national capacity map but also marks the accelerated penetration of its self-developed 350Wh/kg ultra-high energy density battery into logistics, heavy trucks, drones, and other scenarios, promoting the large-scale landing of the new energy zero-carbon logistics system.
